Do you have any comments on the new Street Festival format?

We get spam here, pretty much every day. Loveawake is a website with an open question box and comment section, that seems to be a spam magnet. Normally, the spam gets deleted by any one of us guys or the editors, but recently a trend in the spam we have been gettting gave me food for thought. The last five comments on that linked answer are for magical help for all your problems.

No effort, no responsibility, no problem. Just lay down $150 or so and all your problems are solved permanently! Sounds perfect, doesn't it. Tempting as hell.

Isn't using magic on Muggles frowned upon? Thought the Ministry of Magic had a whole section of rules and sanctions about that.

It'd be nice if magic worked. Don't want to tread on anyone's toes (ha, yeah, right), but the universe suspending it's rules simply because someone asks is a little bit far fetched. Seven tons of BS from China, as my grandad would say.

We all want quick fixes. Most of the time, they don't exist outside the pages of a book. Not only are you human, but you are dealing with human beings - the ones who can screw you up without even trying. It is tempting to cut a willow wand, shout "magnum bonum" and hope every last thing will be cured.

It is rubbish.

You got a problem with your man? Yeah, he is a dumb, stubborn guy who is reluctant to change.
He has a problem with you? The dumb, stubborn person is the one you see in the mirror every morning.
Life getting you down? Stop wishing and start doing.

It ain't exactly rocket science here. Do or do not, there is no try, to borrow a phrase. No shortcuts either. If you want something you go for it, work at it and pay the demanded price for it.
There is always a price. Pay it or not, that is your choice.
